We had a very good turnout for our Funfly held during the CANSAT competition. Two launches exceeded $35,000 feet. Recovery proved to be a bit of a challenge for John and Jenny Etgen. There rocket was recovered, with help from a helicopter, 15 miles from the launch site in Palo Duro Canyon. See the Media Gallery for videos and pictures taken during the launch.
John Bolene's research class was attended by 7 rocketeers. The students made 38mm and 54mm propellent.
